I have known and worked with Avery Murrah for about 2 years. He was referred to me by my attorney, who has known Avery for quite a long time, as a person who could help me buy a daycare business. I was new to the business and needed someone to help that was familiar with how to structure a purchase that would not be disadvantageous to me. The initial inquiries I had made on businesses for sale only resulted in information I could not validate or was represented by an agent for the Seller's interest.
Avery was able to find other options for me to consider and help me work through the analysis on those that I found interesting. We looked at daycare businesses and other types of businesses and his analysis was helpful in the evaluation. His analytical nature helped me locate the right "business fit" for me and helped me understand why some of the other ventures that I seemed interested in just did not fit the objectives I had given to him to guide his search. His patience with me throughout the process was reassuring as it proved to me that he was working on behalf of my best interests rather than what deal could be done first.
At the end of the effort, I wound up with the right school for me on terms that were reasonable and workable for my budget. It took a lot of work on his partas the contract had to be amended for a number of reasons. Even though Avery's work takes him out of the city from time to time, he was always just a phone call away. When terms needed to be negotiated, he would manage to get what we needed and he would then stay on the phone with me until I understood where we were in the process.
Besides the good service Avery provided by getting me what I wanted, I felt that my best interests were being taken into account in all that he did. I plan to use him again when I am ready to purchase my second center.
